Auto Show at Ottawa Hills Fall Festival draws Hot Cars and Crowd
Hundreds of car lovers, both young and old braved Saturday's sweltering heat during the Ottawa Hills Fall Festival to enjoy the wide variety of classic, sports, and special interest vehicles displayed on Geresy Field as Kistler Ford presented the 2017 Ottawa Hills Auto Show.
Held in association with the Ottawa Hills Schools Parent Association. Proceeds from the show will support ongoing Impact Teen Drivers educational programming aimed at fighting the #1 killer of teens: Reckless and Distracted Driving!
The Best of Show Award went to Jeff and Kathy Willets' 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7, 427 GT-E.

- People's Choice: 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Woodie Wagon (Jim Bartisch)
- Kid's Choice: 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider (Ron Juan)
- Best Survivor: 1977 Pontiac Can Am (George Sears)
- Best Pre-1970: 1946 Cadillac Model 61 Convertible (Dave Treuhaft)
- Best 1970 or Newer: 1985 Ferrari 308 GTS (Village resident Craig Hagenbuch)
- Best Unicorn: 1957 Morgan +4 (Richard Flasck)
Other notable cars included a 1965 Pontiac GTO given as a gift to Angelina Jolie from Billy Bob Thornton. Thanks to Lisa Lay for adding the Hollywood glamour!
Nearly seventy vehicles participated in the judging. Our judges included 13ABC's Jay Berschback, Fall Festival Chairwoman Amy Flanigan, OHHS Freshman Lane Colton, Bobby Jorgensen from Kistler Ford, Motown Motorhead Bill Donnelly, and Auto Show Chairman David Kanarowski.
There were lots of fun door prizes, music, and plenty of free water was distributed!
